In order to put people in the right mood for the LIEBHERR European Championships, there are various projects and competitions in Stuttgart, the region and throughout Germany.
October the 25th, 2008, was the starting point of the public sports activities. Once a month, eleven times altogether - modelled on the sets to eleven in table tennis - prominent people will play table tennis in different public places.
Next to that there will be tournaments in "Freestyle Table Tennis" on stone tables, the projects "Partner Schools" and a visitors's programme for young people from abroad.
