The general terms of business are the basis of and form part of each contractual agreement between the German Table Tennis Association (hereinafter referred to as “DTTB”) and the client.
1. Ticket orders
1.1 By "tickets", entry tickets can be ordered, ordering by telephone is not possible. Incomplete order forms will not be processed.
1.2 Orders can only be taken either by using the ticket flyer ordering form or online
under www.tischtennis.de Ordering tickets by Email or by telephone is not possible.
1.3 Entry tickets will be allocated and sent according to reception date of order form and desired seating category. No claims for certain seats or category exists. Should Category 1 seating be sold out, you will automatically receive Category 2 seats.
1.4 Online sales will take place until August 13th, 2009. Thereafter entry tickets can only be purchased through either Easy Ticket or on the day of the event at the box-office.
1.5 A fee for postage and administration will be levied; it amounts to €4.—for Germany and to €9.—for orders from abroad.
1.6 The prices for entry tickets are final, i.e. inclusive of postage/administra- tion fee as well as VAT (19%). Should VAT be increased, prices will be raised accordingly.
1.7 Order procedure reaches closing stage when payment is received in time by the organiser. Tickets will be dispatched within 3 weeks after reception of payment, but no earlier than December 2008.
1.8 Free seating will be offered on September 14th, 15th and on September 17th (with the exception of the sealed-off area). On September 13th, 16th and from September 18th to 20th there will be numbered seats in Category 1 and 2. Entry tickets can be purchased through Easy Ticket. 2. Payment modalities
2.1 Payment is only possible with a direct debit (only possible from German bank accounts) or by credit card.
2.2 When payment takes place through direct debit (only possible from German bank accounts), you have to provide us with the name of the account holder, the banking institution details, the account number, the sort code and please do sign your order. Payment will be collected from your account within 14 days after receiving your permission.
2.3 If paying by credit card, we need to be provided with the type of credit card (MasterCard, Visa), the name of the card holder, the card number, the validity period and the verification number. Please make sure that the credit card holder and the person ordering the tickets, are identical.
2.4 Customers must ensure that the total amount invoiced is being paid. Should we receive only part-payment or should payment not be effected for any reason whatsoever or should your bank re-book the amount, your order will be cancelled without prior contacting you. Entry tickets will remain the property of the DTTB.
2.5 All charges incurred relevant to the ticket order form (bank charges, currency exchange charges, etc) have to be borne by the client. Your bank will make any relevant information available to you. The invoice amount without deductions has to be received in time, in Euros, on the account of the DTTB.
3. Ticket dispatch
3.1 Dispatch of Category 1 tickets take place by recorded mail. Entry tickets will be sent at cost and at risk of peril to the person ordering the tickets. Lost tickets will not be replaced by the DTTB, the exception being if the DTTB causes the loss through gross negligence or loss is caused deliberately. The DTTB does not accept any responsibility for timely reception of tickets sent. No liability will be assumed by the DTTB, the exception being if the delay is caused by gross negligence or if it has been caused deliberately by the DTTB.
3.2 Tickets will be dispatched to the address provided on the order form at the beginning of December 2008, but at the earliest 3 weeks after reception of your compulsory order and full payment. If a timely dispatch is no longer possible, entry tickets will be deposited for collection at the daily box-office.
4. Reductions
4.1 Children older than 3 years, students and youth until the age of 18, handicapped persons, senior citizens as well as soldiers and men, completing their year of civil service, reductions are available, but only in Category 2 seating. Please keep your proof of identification ready at the entrance.
4.2 Children under the age of 3 do not have to pay an entry fee (no seating guarantee). Proof of identification has to be presented upon request.
4.3 Special conditions will apply for groups on the event days of September 13th to 17th, 2009: 10% reduction is granted for order of €750.—
5. Reimbursement/loss
5.1 Exchange/return of tickets is excluded! Lost entry tickets will not be replaced.
6. TV transmission, image- and soundrecording
6.1 When purchasing tickets, spectators are aware of and agree to the fact that they may be filmed or sound-recorded. These recordings may be published and publicly used. No monetary claims can be raised against use of these publications.
6.2 Some sights may have a restricted view due to TV-cameras; this does not entitle you to claims for ticket replacement. We do thank you in advance for your kind understanding.
7. Various
7.1 Tischtennis Marketing GmbH is authorised to collect all data necessary to process orders and payments and keep them in their own database. I agree to collect my address and E-mail to the TMG mailing list, to send me table tennis information. No sale or passing on to third parties takes place.
7.2 Matches may be re-scheduled. When matches are abandoned altogether, cost of entry tickets will not be reimbursed.
7.3 When purchasing entry ticket(s), the general terms of business are recognised as being legally binding.

8. Liability
8.1 The organiser excluded liability for any kind of damages, the exception being damages caused by deliberate acts or gross negligence.
9. Court of jurisdiction/Salvatorian Clause
9.1 Only German law applies, in particular the German Civil Code (BG).
9.2 In case that one or more regulations of these AGB should not have become, partly or as a whole, a component of the AGB, the legal force and validity of the remaining parts will not be affected by that. The contents of the AGB shall then, in this respect, comply with the statutory regulations unless that would constitute an unreasonable hardship for one contractual party. If no statutory regulations can be found the gap will have to be closed by supplementary interpretations.
